The Hooded Man ritual is a game or ritual that can transfer you to the world different from ours. In this sense, this ritual is quite similar to the Elevator ritual. In elevator ritual, you need an elevator which transfers you to another world. But, here you need a telephone. You have to call a cab whose driver is a hooded man demon and the cab will take you to enter a ride to visit the world of paranormal. It can be real because the internet is full of experiences of people who have tried it.
How to Perform the Hooded Man Ritual
Warning – Hooded man ritual should NOT be attempted in a state of fear, nervousness, or agitation. You must perform a cleansing ritual before starting the game and after completing the game as a precaution to save your home from negative energies. Do NOT talk with other passengers that the cab may pick up during the ride.Please follow all the instructions written in the post before attempting this game. Play at your own risk.
Requirements:-
An old-fashioned rotary phone or a modern touch tone corded phone.
Two black cords or ropes measuring half a meter in length each.
Matches or a lighter.
A watch.
A sage-smudge stick.
How to perform it?
As I mentioned in the warning section, you must perform a cleansing ritual before you can actually attempt this ritual.
Cleansing ritual steps
Open all the windows and gates.
Burn a sage-smudge stick and move with it so that its smoke enters all the rooms.
When the stick extinguishes flush it in a toilet.
Now, spread salt or ash before the front door.
Now, you can perform the hooded man ritual. Follow the steps as written below
Steps to perform Hooded man ritual
Begin at night. Shut all the doors, all the windows, draw all the curtains, turn off the lights, as well as all electronic devices.
You must not carry anything except a watch. Carrying anything of power or protection is prohibited in this game.
Count to the number 13 and sit down before the telephone. Then, dial the following number: 20496888.
Now, Tie one black cord to the telephone’s handset and then again dial the following number: 25515823.
Again count to 13 and speak the following words into the receiver: “Hello? I need a cab.”
Now, replace the first black cord from the handset with the second one and burn the first cord immediately before completing the ritual.
Look outside from your window. You will see a black taxi cab parked outside your home.
Exit the building but don’t forget to lock the door behind you and sit into the back seat of the cab.
Inside the cab
Now, lock the cab door with the key given in the cab and go to sleep.
Woke up after sometime and check time via your watch.
If your watch reads anytime other than 3:30am. Exit the cab, reenter your home within two minutes and proceed to “End the ritual – Step 1.”
If your watch reads 3:30am. Go back to sleep.
Now, when you woke up for the second time, you will find the cab to be driving on a highway of another world with a paranormal man wearing a hood. Do NOT fear and attempt to get out of the cab while it is moving.
End your ride as soon as possible by leaning close to the hooded man’s ear and recite the following words “I have reached my destination.” Now, fall asleep one last time; when you woke up, you will have returned to your home.
End the ritual:
Once you have returned to your home, dial the following number: 200082 and say the following words into the receiver: “Thank you for the ride.”
Now, untie the black cord from the handset and burn it like the first one; then bury the ashes of both the cords in the ground. Scatter some salt over the top of the burial site.
Now again perform a cleansing ritual.

Abe no Seimei was a renowned Japanese legend and like other legends, several myths began to circulate just after he died. These myths sapped his true story. This post entails his true story.

True story of Abe no Seimei
Abe no Seimei is a Japanese god whose main shrine is located in Kyōto. In Japanese history, he is the most famous onmyōji who lived from 921 to 1005 CE. He is believed to hold magical powers and incredible foreseeing capabilities. He is the most successful astrologer and diviner of his time and served six different emperors. He is the author of the most famous book Senji Ryakketsu, which includes about six thousand predictions and thirty-six fortune telling techniques.
Kamo no Tadayuki and Kamo no Yasunori were proud teachers of Abe no Seimei. It was believed that he was born with supernatural powers which were inherited from his mother, who was a white fox. Seimei mastered his magical spells from a book Hoki Naiden. Hoki Naidei originated inIndia and passed generations to generations and reached China. This book was inherited by a Chinese wizard named Saint Hokudō and he further passed this book to a Japanese envoy Kibi no Makibi. This book passed from Kibi no Makibi to Abe no Nakamaro and lastly to his descendant Abe no Seimei.
Enemies of Abe no Seimei
Abe no Seimei became very famous even in his small age. But, due to his fame, he made many enemies. A famous priest Chitoku once planned to masquerade Seimei. He acted as being a traveler who wanted to learn magic from Seimei. He decided to disguise Seimei with his two servant spirits. But, Semei understood everything only in a single look of him. The following day, Semei secretly unsummoned his servant’s spirits. Chitoku after realizing all this knelt down and begged pardon from him.
Ashiya Dōman hold topmost grudges against Abe no Seimei who decided to kill him by plotting against him.
Dōman was a successful onmyōji and was much older to Seimei. Dōman upon hearing Seimei’s acclaim contested a divination duel against him. Dōman had no stand against him and Seimei very easily defeated Dōman. Since then, Dōman decided to take a revenge of his defeat.
Ashiya Dōman out of revenge somehow convinced Seimei’s wife to give him Hoki Naiden, Seimei’s book of magical spells. Then, Dōman created a magical spell so that Seimei could not know that his book was with Dōman. Out of deception, Dōman one day bragged about the book. Seimei confidently told him if he could present his book then he could kill him. Dōman presented his book and he killed Seimei.
Saint Hokudō intuited the murder of Seimei and traveled from China to Japan. Then, he first gave back life to Abe no Seimei’s by doing some magical spells. Lastly, he decided to take the revenge of Seimei’s death. He went to Dōman’s house and asked him innocently if he could meet Seimei. Dōman replied to him that Seimei died. But, Hokudō told him that he is still alive. Dōman then confidently told him that he could kill him if he will be able to present Seimei in front of him. Hokudō presented Seimei and killed Dōman and Seimei’s wife for their betrayal.

Unexplained Mystery of Rudolph Fentz
Accident of a strange looking man
In June 1950, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a young man unexpectedly appeared in the middle of New York City’s Times Square. He was spotted by an on-duty police officer. The man was looking confused, having mutton-chop outdated sideburns and wearing old-fashioned clothes which astonished the officer. Before the officer could approach him, the man was hit by a car and died.
Investigation
Police found several curious things in the man’s pocket during the investigation.
A bill drawn by a livery stable on Lexington Avenue (unknown address) for the care of a horse.
Several business cards with the name Rudolph Fentz (assumed to be the name of the deceased) and an address on Fifth Avenue.
Rudolph Fentz Unsolved Mystery Explained
Captain Hubert V. Rihm (officer of Missing Persons Department of NYPD) tried to identify Rudolph Fentz using his information. He found that Fifth Avenue’s owner did not know Rudolph Fentz. Fentz’s fingerprints did not match to any modern records, his name was not found in any modern address book, no one filed any missing report against him and no one claimed to know him.
Eventually, he came across a record of Rudolph Fentz Jr. in a telephone book from 1939. After tracing Rudolph Fentz Jr., he found that he died five years before but his widow was still alive and she is living in Florida. Rihm contacted his widow and stunned to listen that her father-in-law (Rudolph Fentz) went for an evening walk and never returned. He was missing since 1876 when he aged 29.
Rihm then searched Rudolph Fentz in the missing person’s file of the year 1876 and found a report filed on Rudolph Fentz with exactly the same appearance as of the strange dead man from New York. Afraid of being called crazy, Rihm never wrote any of these results of this investigation in his official files and marked the case unsolved.
After he was retired, he publicly revealed details of this strange unsolved case during an interview.
Was Rudolph Fentz a Time traveler?
Rudolph Fentz was considered as an urban legend, who traveled from 1876 to 1950. But, unfortunately, coming into the year 1950, he reached the middle of Times square and hit by a car and died. Whether he was a time traveler or not? It is still a question. But, his strange disappearance and reappearance spread through the internet and was written in several books. Some people changed his name to Rudolf Fenz and some have even changed the contents of his pocket.
The story doesn’t end here.
Strange turns in the strange tale of Rudolph Fentz
In 2000, A Folklore researcher Chris Aubeck investigated the truth behind the strange Fentz tale. But, he couldn’t find the origin of this story. He concluded that this story didn’t contain any element of truth. People and events in this story all are a part of some fiction. He published his research in the Akron Beacon Journal in the year 2001.
Pastor George Murphy, later told Aubeck that the story was plucked from Jack Finney’s 1951 short story, I’m Scared and may be from Jack Finney’s, “About Time: 12 Short Stories”.
This short story of Jack Finney shows a great similarity with Rudolph Fentz story but Finney died much earlier than he could be questioned.
In 2007, a news archive researcher from Berlin found a similar story in the newspaper archives from April 1951 which was printed 5 months before the Jack Finney’s short story.
